Can anybody help?

I purchased a new Aquatronica system in July 2007. The power failure feature has never worked properly. ITC have changed the controller for me and I have just now upgraded the firmware to version 5 (dated 10/12/07) Which is supposed to address this very problem.

The problem I have is that as soon as power fails the date and time is lost.  It does not matter if the power is cut for 1 second or 10 seconds or much longer, each time it does not restart with the correct time and date.

ANY HELP WITH THIS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

ps.  I have left the unit to charge its internal battery for 2 days before testing.
