I have a Aquatronica that I would like to have powerboards in seperate area's (Sump is in the garage and tank is inside).  I need to have the powerboards about 10m apart.  Is there anyway i can do this?

Hi ZoD,

the maximum lenth of the USB cable tested is 15 meters, instead the cable between the Controller and the Power Unit I know someone is using a long cable, I think you will have no problems using a 10 meters long cable.

Do you know if it has to be a certain type of USB cable as so far i have had no luck.

Hi Zod,

I have my power units about 15m apart and I have a couple (3 x 5m) extension cords linked together and to date I don't have any problems. I'll try and find out what type of cord they are as only some will work.

The cables are the standard pin to pin version without repeaters. Works fine here!
