Need help with ethernet module.

Does any one know how I type my adress in to access the module via the internet.

I can access via the LAN OK but am totally confused as to how I gain access via the internet.

I have a D-Link adsl router DSL-2740B, I,ve set a static IP for the module. I can access the router via the internet but don't know how to access the module.

Hi Phil27,

to access from Internet to your Aquatronica Ethernet module you have to set the router to send all the internet requests to the Intranet address of the module.

Your router should have this "setting", I dont' know your router.

If you need help on the router settings ask to the Aquatronica service at http://www.aquatronica.com/support they have seen various routers and probably can help you.

I think I have managed to sort it out after doing some searching on the internet. I,ve set up port forwarding on 1024 and now access by typing the Internet IP address followed by :1024 I haven't tested this yet as I need to log in from another location not my LAN, unless there is another way to do this.

I hope that this may help other people in a similar situation if it works.
