Problem with Ethernet module (without USB module)

Hello,
I just bought a ACQ110, ACQ225 (Ethernet) and two ACQ012-F (power unit)
Everything
is working fine, but I thought it was possible to command the ACQ110,
from the Internet with the Ethernet module. Unfortunately, I just can
see the real time monitor, but I can't login. (what is this Login ?)


So my questions : Why is it impossible to command the ACQ110 with my computer and an Ethernet module without USB module ?
Second
question : Is it possible to add ethernet capacity to your PC software
System Controler ? Cause I don't want to buy a USB module for using the
software.

Hi erka,

the Ethernet module provides the monitoring of the plugs status and the probes value, if you log into the Ethernet page with your password (the one you setted in the Ethernet menu) you can also chenge the plug status on/off/manual.

Aquatronica decided not to allow to program the controller thru the Ethernet module due to security problems, first af all becouse if you make a program remotly you cant' verify if it's working correctly and you can loose your tank for a little program error.

To setup/program the controller via PC Aquatronica made the USB interface, via it's program you can do the same of what is done via the menu, there is only this way to connect the controller to the PC.
